For some of us 3G is the only freedom with wireless and mobile everywhere but apparently, RIM is a bit worried that high price-point for the new BlackBerry 9000 might be a bit too expensive. According to the Boy Genius, an almost identical model of the next-gen phone will be available without 3G connection and some case changes on it to make price affordable for everybody. Apperantly there is a fear of market and sales on RIM side and maybe it is the right decision to move forward.
